As part of my post-graduate studies, I was tasked with running a public relations campaign for not-for-profit organisation Head and Neck Cancer Support Network. The campaign was a success as all KPI's were met, and the client gave me a glowing review.
#CANSMILE CAMPAIGN
BRIEF
To raise awareness of the Head and Neck Cancer Support Network (HNCSN) through media exposure, to give a voice to those with head and neck cancer (HNC) and highlight the importance of head and neck cancer and support networks.
KPI'S
Partner with three healthcare professionals related to HNC in Auckland by 27th September 2019 to become ambassadors for the network.
To be featured on at least one prime breakfast television show on World Smile Day.
Increase inquiries of HNCSN by the end of October 2019
RESULTS
Three ongoing partnerships with Head and Neck Surgeons
Creation of new brochure that has been distributed in hospital across Auckland
Client stated there was a massive increase of inquires into the network
The AM show agreed to feature a segment on World Smile Day (due to unforeseen circumstances the spokesperson dropped out)
Smile ambassadors from the network created and empowered
