COPY WRITING - EAST COAST BAYS FOOTBALL CLUB

Since the beginning of 2020, I have been working with East Coast Bays Football on copywriting for marketing, advertising and social media.  This includes working with the graphic designer on advertising/marketing material and writing captions. Recently, I have written a feature on a new coach that is due to be published in the North Shore Times.

Ex A-League All-Star Albert Riera to join the East Coast Bays AFC coaching staff. 

Born in Barcelona, Spain, Albert Riera has had an international professional football career spanning over a decade. 

Riera moved to New Zealand in 2011 and quickly became one to watch while playing for Auckland City FC in the New Zealand Football Championship. Riera then signed for the Wellington Phoenix in 2013. During his three seasons at the Phoenix Riera was named player of the season and was selected for the A-League All-Stars team. In 2016 Riera moved back to Auckland to rejoin his Auckland City FC and begin his coaching career.

Riera is passionate about developing young talent and getting the most out of every player. He is excited to share his insights into what it takes to reach the highest level of New Zealand football. 

Riera will begin coaching at East Coast Bays AFC next term. His primary focus will be within the Talent Development Program (13th – 17th grade) as well as heading up the Future Bays Program (17th grade +). However, Riera hopes his knowledge and experience will help inspire the club as a whole.
